Camp Fire Snohomish County

Generations of campers can tell you … the camp experience is a very special part of a young person’s life, making memories and teaching life skills.

Focused on Campers

Our programs are based on the Camp Fire philosophy: an emphasis on the small group, individual attention, acceptance of differences and a loosely-structured child-centered approach. Programs focus on appreciation of the out-of-doors, democratic group living, non-competitive sports and games, skill development, concern for others, fun and friendship.

Inclusion & Diversity

Killoqua’s programs are open to all — you do not need to be a current member of Camp Fire to get involved. Camp Fire believes in the dignity and the intrinsic worth of every human being. We welcome, affirm, and support young people and adults of all abilities and disabilities, experiences, races, ethnicities, socio-economic backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, religion and non-religion, citizenship and immigration status, and any other category people use to define themselves or others. We strive to create safe and inclusive environments that celebrate diversity and foster positive relationships.

Unique Outdoor Experience

Located on 185 acres of forest, wetlands and waterfront, Killoqua provides a unique outdoor experience for youth and adults. Our beautiful site in north Snohomish County features trails, game fields, and outdoor spaces that are ideal settings for programs based on the Camp Fire philosophy.

It doesn’t get much better than Camp Killoqua!

“I started going to Camp Killoqua in 1960 and continued to go every summer with 2 years as CIT and then one summer as a Counselor ( Miss Sammy) in 1969. Camp Killoqua is the best camp around and I have many great memories with lots of camp songs in my head. Many times I find my self going down the road in my truck singing camp songs.

I had the pleasure of attending the 75th anniversary at Killoqua the summer of 2016 and had a wonderful time. Such fun meeting old friends that I hadn’t seen in many years. Loved sitting around the campfire singing songs, the flag ceremony the heading to the meal in the dining room and then singing afterward. I say it doesn’t get much better than Camp Killoqua!”
